In 2017, more than 435,000 deaths from malaria were reported worldwide, of which 403,000 were in Africa. Since 2015 the data show no significant progress towards a decrease in the number of cases of malaria in the world according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
Since 2014, “The House of Artemisia” brings together medical and agronomic skills in each country of sub-tropical Africa and works for the reintroduction of the plant ‘Artemisia’ in Africa to make available for free and ecological a remedy for malaria among the populations.
This is why SOCAPS FUND decided to participate by financing the upgrading of the Banigbé processing chain in Benin and the recruitment of one person and many events in 2019.
